Hire Goodwill

At Goodwill, our mission is to provide vocational opportunities to people with barriers to employment. You can help us fulfill that mission by partnering with Goodwill's Production and Contracts program located in both Portland and Salem. Our workers can help with your bulk mailing projects, collating, stapling, labeling and other tasks.

Your Projects Change Lives

Your projects change livesThe Production and Contracts program in Portland and Salem each employ up to 35 adults with varying disabilities. These disabilities include, but are not limited to: Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, mental illness, autism, mental retardation, arthritis, epilepsy, and traumatic brain injury.

We provide our workers with a pleasant, safe working environment where they learn new skills and earn money for the work they finish.  Even better, our workers take pride in their accomplishments and enjoy being able to contribute to the community.

Get Your Production-Related Work Completed

Our program participants are available to fulfill your production-related work between the hours of 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Before any job is begun, we perform a time study to determine whether the program participants can do the job, the number of workers needed for the project and the amount of labor involved. Price is determined upon the time study information. You will receive either a "piece-rate" or “total-project price” quote.
